Following a  Mediterranean eating pattern has strong evidence to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases, cancer, diabetes as well as delay dementia and improve cognitive function. Assessing adherence to this eating pattern can help determine diet quality and identify areas for improvement.

In this webinar, you will:

a) learn about the key aspects of the Mediterranean diet and its many benefits for chronic disease prevention and management

b) move beyond cardiovascular disease and dementia prevention and think about using the Mediterranean eating pattern for patients with mental health conditions and renal conditions

d) be introduced to tools to use in practice to measure adherence to the Mediterranean diet pre- and post- nutrition intervention
