Virtual Office Hour - NRC Navigator Training Webinar

To learn how you can use the Navigator, you may be interested in the recording of our Virtual Office Hour webinar. During the webinar, Devon Peart, Registered Dietitian and NRC Navigator Project Lead, and Barbara Prud'homme, a past NRC Knowledge Management and Communications Coordinator, were on hand to share information about the tool, answer questions, and offer insights and recommendations to help make our stakeholders' experience with the NRC Navigator more engaging and successful.

More Information on How to Use The Navigator

Searching by Keyword

To locate resources by keyword, type your search term(s) in the field below “Search for Resources” on the right of the screen, and click ‘Search’.

Did you know?
  • If your search term has more than one word, enclose it in quotations. For example, you could search for sodium, or you could search more specifically for resources about “sodium reduction”.
  • You can refine your search by using the NRC Navigator’s filters, which include topics, settings, and age categories. Select as many filters as you like and click ‘Apply’.  Your list of results will then appear on the page.

Saving Resources
Each resource listing in the NRC Navigator includes a icon. You can click the  icon on the resources that you are interested in to save them to your My Resources page

You can also click ‘Add all to My Resources’ if you would like to save all of your search results.

(*Note: Clicking the will cause a icon to appear)

My Resources

All of the resources that you have selected for saving will appear on the My Resources page.
  • To remove a specific resource from this list, click on the  icon and it will disappear.
  • To remove all of the resources that you have saved to this list, simply click ‘Remove all My Resources’.

Email Your "My Resources" List

You can email the list of resources you have saved to My Resources to yourself or a colleague. Simply enter the email address of the recipient and the numerical code on the page, and click ‘Send’.

Then, clicking on any of the titles from your emailed list will bring you directly back to the NRC Navigator resource listing.
