Annual General Meeting

The OPHA Annual General Meeting is held each year in conjunction with the OPHA Annual Conference, usually on the first full day of the conference. While all conference delegates are welcome to attend, only Members in Good Standing are eligible to vote.

At the AGM, Association by-laws are reviewed and changes approved, position papers, resolutions, and motions that have been personally presented to the Board are reviewed and approved, the Annual Report is presented, an auditor is appointed, and the nominees for the Board of Directors are voted on and appointed.

OPHA Members are eligible to nominate a candidate for the Board of Directors. Nominations open each June and close at the end of August. Please log in to the Get Involved section of the Members' Lounge for details.

To submit a Position Paper, Resolution, or Motion for consideration by the OPHA Board at the Annual General Meeting, OPHA Members should consult the Guidelines and Submission Process. Note that the deadline for submissions opens each June and closes at the end of August.
