Welcome to our new Executive Director

Siu Mee Cheng joined OPHA on April 4th as Executive Director. As you know from previous announcements, Siu Mee has a wealth of experience in health administration, policy development, and government relations. OPHA’s staff and Board of Directors are thrilled to welcome Siu Mee to OPHA.

 

Staff Updates

Jennifer Lodge has been hired as a Program Coordinator (half-time) with the Ontario Chronic Disease Prevention Alliance, beginning April 1, 2011. She will be working closely with the co-chairs of this Alliance – Dr. Norman Giesbrecht of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, and Mr. Chris Markham, Executive Director and CEO of Ophea. Jennifer will continue her part-time role as Program Coordinator with OPHA’s Youth Engagement Project. Her contact details will remain the same. This is a great opportunity for Jennifer to continue working for OPHA in an expanded capacity, utilizing her many skills and talents. Please join me in congratulating Jennifer on this new role!

We are very pleased to announce that Evanna Li’s job function will be expanded beginning April 1, 2011, working as Administrative Coordinator on both the Youth Engagement Project and the Injury Prevention Project. Her contact information will remain the same. Evanna has proven very valuable to our projects in her short time here and we are pleased to offer this opportunity to her.
