August 2009 - OAHPP Survey
Ontario’s First Public Health Agency Invites You to Participate in its Strategic Planning Process
The Ontario Agency for Health Protection and Promotion (OAHPP) is committed to an iterative and consultative approach in setting its priorities for the future. The process began with the release of the Strategic Planning Framework and Start Up Operational Plan in December 2008. Since that time, the senior management team and staff have been updating key stakeholders and the field about OAHPP’s current activities as well as gathering input on future directions.

The same day that the OAHPP hosted the official opening of its headquarters - the Sheela Basrur Centre - the OAHPP and Ontario's public health system were thrown into the centre of H1N1. As a result, previously scheduled field visits and consultations across the province were postponed so that public health units and the OAHPP could focus on other urgent priorities.
The OAHPP is now resuming its consultation process and invites you and your organization to participate in a web survey being conducted by PSTG. The survey will allow PSTG to gather your input into the strategic priorities for the OAHPP over the next three years. The purpose of the survey is to help the agency prioritize the work ahead to support health units, ministries and other partners. The OAHPP is committed to working effectively and in partnership with local public health and Ministries to achieve its goals. All information will be confidential.
About the Survey
We anticipate that the survey will take about 45 minutes to complete. The survey design will allow you to save the survey if you need to (at the top right of the survey). If you are submitting organization versus individual responses, we suggest collating all feedback and completing in one response from a single computer. The survey will be available on-line until August 31, 2009. Fill out the survey by clicking on this link.
Thank You!
Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey. Your input will be extremely valuable to the OAHPP as it strives to fulfill its mandate “to provide scientific and technical advice for those working to protect and promote the health of Ontarians.”
Thanks!
