Alcohol Policy Network Welcomes Jennifer Lodge
We are very pleased to welcome Jennifer Lodge to OPHA. She will be completing her placement assignment with the Alcohol Policy Network from January – April, 2008. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, and is completing a post-grad diploma in Health Promotion from Centennial College. NRC Welcomes Ellen MacLean
We are very pleased to welcome Ellen MacLean to OPHA. Ellen will be completing her placement with the Nutrition Resource Centre, from January 16 – April 9, 2008 (12 weeks). Currently in the final stages of a Masters of Health Science in Community Nutrition at the University of Toronto, Ellen brings with her extensive volunteer and academic experience in clinical dietetics, research and food security. She will be applying her skills and knowledge to the Eat Smart! program while completing her final placement. Ellen can be reached at emaclean [at] opha.on.ca, ext. 260.
NRC and OCDPA Welcome Honey Bloomberg
We are very pleased to welcome Honey Bloomberg to OPHA. Honey will be completing her placement with both the OCDPA and NRC team until April 8, 2008 (12weeks). Currently in the final stages of a Masters of Health Sciences in Community Nutrition, Honey brings with her broad and diverse working experiences from her past work in clinical research, hospital education and the food industry. Honey has an interest in food politics and food and health policy, which she will be applying during her final placement with the OCDPA.

TEIP Welcomes Christine Herrera
Please welcome Christine Herrera to the TEIP team! Christine is completing her Masters in Public Health at the University of Waterloo and is doing her 13-week student placement at TEIP. She will be with us from January 7 – April 4, 2008. Christine has an interest in community-based programming and evaluation and has been involved in evaluation studies with Barb Riley. While here, she will be working with Stacey Nunes to complete the on-line TEIP Program Evaluation Protocol as well as supporting the dissemination of the TEIP Program Assessment Protocol.
