Staff Update
Jennifer Lodge celebrated her last day as an intern at OPHA on April 25th. Jennifer completed the requirements for her Centennial College post-graduate program in Workplace Wellness and Health Promotion working with Ben Rempel, Manager, Alcohol Education and Injury Prevention. Jennifer was instrumental in sourcing the content of the alcohol and injury prevention websites, co-ordinating the logistics of the annual forums, and assisting with the completion of a major research paper. Jennifer’s next stop is a week-long trip to Cuba for some safe sun exposure and some responsible low-risk drinking…
Stacey Nunes, who has been Program Coordinator with the TEIP Program since October 2007, has accepted a new position with the Peel District Health Unit. In Stacey’s short time at OPHA, she quickly proved her worth and she will be sorely missed. Well, our loss is Peel’s gain! Now, if we could only move OPHA to Brampton, I am sure we could entice Stacey to stay. However, until that happens, please join me in wishing Stacey all the best in her new position!!
