Welcome to OPHA’s media resource centre. Media Relations is a vital component of OPHA’s advocacy effort and we welcome media enquiries on a wide range of issues in public health policy, the public health profession and general public health practice.
The media resource centre at OPHA offers story ideas and briefing notes — synopses of current topics and emerging issues in public health on which OPHA's subject matter experts and officially designated OPHA representatives are available for comment, or to provide context or explanations.

OPHA regularly issues media releases that:
- articulate our position on specific issues,
- respond to policy announcements, and
- inform the public on developments and challenges affecting the public health system.
