Association of Local Public Health Agencies (alPHa)
alPHa is a non-profit organization that represents public health units and boards of health in Ontario. Through leadership, participation, partnership and promotion, alPHa facilitates the improvement of public health programs and services that better the health of Ontario’s population.

OPHA is integrally involved with alPHa as a member of its Board of Directors. Both organizations also actively collaborate on a wide variety of program initiatives such as the Joint alPHa/OPHA Working Group on the Social Determinants of Health, a Provincial election primer, and other advocacy initiatives.
