  4. Facilitating Positive Peer Relationships

We are very excited to be working with the Sudbury & District Health Unit to celebrate our 10th Anniversary at our upcoming forum!

The forum will feature exciting speakers, interactive workshops and opportunities to network and socialize with people like you who feel energized by working in or with schools. Anyone who works to create resilient youth and school communities is invited to submit a proposal for a workshop or poster presentation for the 10th annual Ontario Healthy Schools Coalition Forum.

Resiliency in schools has been defined as the capacity to spring back, rebound, successfully adapt in the face of adversity and develop social, academic and vocational competence despite exposure to severe stress or simply to the stress that is inherent in today’s world (adapted by Henderson from Rirkin & Hoopman, 1991).
