Volunteer Resource Management Network (VRMN)

If you manage, supervise or coordinate volunteers in an Ontario health unit or public health department and have an interest in networking with others in your field, consider joining the Ontario Public Health Volunteer Resources Management Network.

This network meets a minimum of three times per year via teleconference. These public health professionals from health units around the province have been meeting since 2004 to:

  • Share resources and knowledge;
  • Provide peer support;
  • Educate each other, other public health staff and staff in other sectors about volunteer resource management;
  • Provide recommendations to decision-makers; and
  • Provide support to any public health unit or health department that wants to develop a volunteer program.

Participation in this network is a worthwhile investment. If you would like to join, please refer to the red Links box to contact the Chair.
