Government Consultations
OPHA is invited to and participates in many government consultations on public health issues at both the federal and the provincial levels.
The form of consultation varies depending on the nature and structure of the project and the kind of information that is needed. For example OPHA might be asked to:
- Take a seat on a committee;
- Send a representative to a one-day consultation meeting;
- Complete an on-line survey;
- Hold an OPHA consultation meeting and drafting a multi-sectoral response.
Here are some examples from the past 5 years.
