Evaluation Process for Position Papers, Resolutions & Motions
Resolutions will be reviewed the following year and every three years thereafter.
Position papers will be reviewed the following year and every five years thereafter.
Evaluations will be completed using the OPHA Resolution and Position Paper Review Form [PDF].
Once a resolution is deemed completed, or a position paper is evaluated as no longer relevant, it will be archived and no longer be a part of the evaluation process.
Evaluations on the status of resolutions and position papers will be done by the end of August each year such so that it can be submitted for information to the Board of Directors meeting in September and then to the Annual General Meeting in November. In addition, the report will be made available for the strategic planning sessions of the Board.
If there is a disagreement on the disposition of a resolution or position paper, the sponsor should submit it in writing to the President who will take this to the Board of Directors for a decision.
