Local Champions for Children's Health and the Environment (LCCHE)
The LCCHE aims to promote, support and enhance development of environmental leadership, within both community organizations and individuals and achieve the following goals:
- To raise the level of children’s environmental health and literacy across Ontario to implement more child-protective behaviours.
- To enhance the ability of local community groups and service providers to deliver high quality children’s environmental health programming in their communities.
- To increase the capacity of Public Health Inspectors to promote and protect children’s environmental health.
